On a brief trip to the coast, we took a 1.5 mile trail up to the lookout point of Neahkahnie
mountain, near Manzanita, Oregon. Involved a bit of rock scrambling at the top, but not
sketchy at all.

Klaus and I embarked on our first alpine summit attempt with Mt. St. Helens. Weather was
good, although way sunnier than we would have liked, and the higher elevation and snow made
the climb exhausting. It was a lot of fun to slide back down the mountain though.
